ALGWA Tasmania is a branch of the Australian Local Government Women’s Association.

To join us or renew your membership, complete our member form and pay the annual $25 Tasmanian Branch fee ($15 for non-serving/retired).

As members we:

• Connect with other female elected representatives in Tasmania and nationally
• Access career support and leadership development, including ALGWA newsletters and events
• Collaborate in safe spaces for discussion and learning
• Encourage and support other women candidates and elected members
• Amplify our collective voices, promoting equity and equality in our communities

Financial and life members are eligible to vote at Tasmanian branch meetings and nominate for election to committee roles at the Annual General Meeting. Elected committees represent our local members, organise activities and advocate for women in local government.
